Frequently Asked Questions
When Is My Domain Registered?
After your payment is verified, the domain is registered in your name automatically; this usually takes a few minutes. You receive an email when it is done and the domain appears under My Domains in your account.
How Long Does a Transfer Take?
After the request, your current registrar may send an approval email. Once approved, most transfers complete within 5-7 days. Your website and email keep working in the meantime.
Can I Register a .Tr Domain?
Yes. For .tr domains, your account must include your Turkish ID number for individual use, or your tax office and tax number for corporate use.
Can I Use It with Hosting?
Yes. When you register, the name servers point to our hosting by default. You can enter your own name servers if you prefer.
What Is an Account-to-account Move?
You can move your domain to another Karakaş Digital customer account. When they accept, the domain moves to their panel; the registrar does not change and there is no extra fee.
What Happens When the Term Ends?
There is no automatic charge. We remind you by email before expiry. An expired domain may be released after a short time; renew on time so you do not lose it.
